Nadal hopes to return to action soon

Spaniard Rafael Nadal, who strained a thigh muscle last week, said on Monday he hopes to return to action at the Dubai Open starting this month.

"This is not a bad injury but it's located on a bad place. I'd rather take a few days off," the world number two told a news conference in Marseille.

Nadal had to pull out of Spain's Davis Cup first round tie against Switzerland after he was injured during training last week. He also withdrew from the Marseille Open which started on Monday.

The Dubai Open is scheduled to take place from February 26 to March 4.
